Information You Provide

When you create an account, sign in, or use the App, we may collect: Name or username, Email address, and Avatar selection you choose to provide.

Game Data and Preferences

To provide core functionality and synchronize your experience across devices, we collect and store: Game history and completed puzzles, Saved progress and ongoing games, Scores, achievements, and statistics, Leaderboard information, Difficulty settings and gameplay preferences, and App settings/customization preferences.

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain technical information, including device type and model, operating system and version, app version, and unique device identifiers. We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics (such as screen views and game session events) to help us optimize performance and improve the app experience.

We use your information to: Create and manage your account; Save and synchronize your game progress across devices; Restore your data when you sign in; Personalize your gameplay experience; Maintain leaderboards and statistics; Improve app performance and user experience; Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse; Provide customer support; and Comply with legal obligations. The App does not display third-party advertisements.

Where required by applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for users in California, USA, we process your personal information based on: Your consent; The performance of our contract with you; Our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App; and Compliance with legal obligations.

We use third-party service providers to operate and improve the App. Our App currently uses: Firebase Authentication for secure account management and Cloud Firestore for cloud data storage and synchronization. These services are provided by Google and may collect, process, and store information according to their own privacy policies. You can read Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Privacy Policy online. Additionally, Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple are offered as optional authentication methods.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only: With service providers necessary to operate the App; When required by law, regulation, or legal process; To protect our rights, users, or the security of the App; or In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide the App's services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe unless we are legally required to retain certain information. Anonymous or aggregated information may be retained for service improvement purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and personal data, request a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing activities, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, USA, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. You may request deletion of your account by using the account deletion feature within the App, if available, or contacting us at [email protected].

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including where Google and Firebase maintain servers. We take reasonable measures to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete such information promptly.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through the App.

You have the right to delete your Sudoku Simple – Just Numbers account and all associated personal data at any time. When you trigger account deletion, we immediately and permanently erase your secure credentials from Firebase Authentication, clear your cloud Firestore progress profiles, and remove your username and scores from the global leaderboards.

Step-by-Step Account Deletion Guide:

To delete your account directly through the mobile application, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Open the Sudoku Simple – Just Numbers app on your device.
• Step 2: Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation menu.
• Step 3: Select Edit Profile under the Account Preferences section.
• Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the Edit Profile screen and tap the red Delete Account button.
• Step 5: Confirm the action in the pop-up warning dialog. Your cloud data will be immediately wiped, your authentication credentials removed, and you will be returned to the Login screen.

Alternatively, if you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, you can submit a deletion request by emailing us at [email protected]. We will process your deletion request manually within 7 business days.
